Looking for work in Aachen without German
Aachen is a university city on the Belgian and Dutch borders, and its English-language listings look like it: research-led companies, semiconductor and hardware work, and spin-outs from RWTH and the institutes around it. Teams built out of a research group are usually international from day one, which is why the adverts are in English.
It is a small list and it concentrates around a few employers — outside the big cities that is the normal shape, and the useful question is who is hiring rather than how long the list is. The names posting most today are shown under this note. Where the jobs are explains the pattern.
If you are coming for a research or doctoral post, note that a PhD position in Germany is usually a paid job on an employment contract, not a student place: Your job contract covers what that means.
Advertising most here today: Black Semiconductor (31). Every listing links straight to the employer's own posting.
