Looking for work in Vienna without German
Vienna's English-language adverts come overwhelmingly from one part of the economy: financial technology, trading and exchanges, and the software companies around them. These are teams built across several countries from the start, and that is the reason the advert is in English at all — not a policy about languages, but a room where English is the only one everybody shares.
The rest of the city is not on this page. Vienna's public sector, its large employers in healthcare and administration, and most customer-facing work advertise in German, and much of it never reaches a careers board this site can read. What you see is what a particular set of employers posted this week.
Working in Austria without German covers the Red-White-Red Card and the EU Blue Card, which is the first question for anyone arriving from outside the EU. Where the jobs are explains the pattern across all three countries.
Advertising most here today: Bitpanda (21), Bybit (13) and Qualysoft (13). Every listing links straight to the employer's own posting.
