Looking for work in Salzburg without German
Salzburg is a festival and tourism city, but the English-language adverts this site finds here come mostly from somewhere else: creative and marketing work — brand design, photography and video, social media and account management — much of it for international brands, where the team and the audience are not Austrian and English is the only language everybody shares.
It is a short list and most of it comes from very few employers, so the useful question is who is hiring rather than how long the list is. The names posting most today are shown under this note. Hotels, restaurants and the festival season employ far more people in Salzburg than anything above, but that work almost always advertises in German, so very little of it reaches this page.
Working in Austria without German covers the Red-White-Red Card for anyone arriving from outside the EU, and explains why an Austrian advert has to print a minimum salary — and how to read that figure.
Advertising most here today: LOOP (11) and Salzburg Global Seminar (1). Every listing links straight to the employer's own posting.
